The Culture and Custom of Oromo: The marriage ceremonies practiced through Hawadii and kadhaa focus on Guji Oromo, south eastern Oromia

The Oromo people are the largest people in the Horn of Africa who have lived in the northeastern Africa since ancient times. They have their own culture, traditions, morals, religion, language, philosophy, system, administration and civilization. The collected data was organized and analyzed using qualitative research methods. The collected data is through questionnaire, observation, and examination of primary and secondary source. Most of the evidence was collected by physically participating in the visual and auditory aspects, during the marriage process by ethnographic approach. The purpose of this research is to educate the wider community of the world about the culture, custom and traditions of the Guji Oromo.
